[Case Study] Cost Reduction through RPF Processing of Waste Plastics (Tape Materials)
Low processing costs and reduced environmental impact for recycling! A case that resulted in an annual savings of approximately 600,000 yen.
We would like to introduce a case study of cost reduction from a manufacturing company that has a manufacturing process for industrial and electrical/electronic tapes. The company faced the challenge of wanting to reduce the disposal costs of tape scraps and yield waste that are discharged as waste. Therefore, we proposed converting them into Refuse Paper Fuel (RPF). RPF is a solid fuel made primarily from plastics and waste paper, and it has lower processing costs compared to incineration disposal, while also reducing environmental impact for recycling. As a result, they were able to reduce waste disposal costs by 20%. 【Case Study】 ■ Target Customer: Manufacturing companies with a manufacturing process for industrial and electrical/electronic tapes ■ Challenge: To reduce the disposal costs of tape scraps and yield waste discharged as waste ■ Effects - 20% reduction in waste disposal costs - For a customer with a monthly discharge of 10 tons: annual savings of approximately 600,000 yen *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
